Fifty-minute workout 

“Build a Butt” I’m promised 

but I don’t use any of the right muscles

Bacon grease and mash for dinner

(reheated) 

plus a side of salad 

sore limbs sunken on the couch 

legs wide

shoulders hunched

chin comfortably doubled 

watching people with perfect faces 

act out their perfect lines on TV 

picking at my break outs 

I wonder what colour 

lipstick

she’s wearing.
